About Ione
Ione Lindroth, founder of One Skin & Body is a Licensed Esthetician, Massage Therapist, Electrologist, and Kundalini Yoga Instructor. After graduating with a B.S. in Soil Science from Cal Poly, she worked on Organic Farms, performed scientific analysis at Environmental Laboratories, studied holistic bodywork, and followed the rhythms of nature. Ione brings her unique scientific wisdom and
many years of experience in the healing arts into her practice. With gifted hands and a skillful touch, you will melt on Ione's massage/facial table. Her treatments are deeply restorative, healing, and create radiant skin.
Ione’s journey into massage started as a child. Her grandfather studied Foot & Hand Reflexology in his later years and he had his own practice at his church. He passed away when she was only 8 years old, but Ione can still remember his firm, healing hands on her feet.
Ione likes to think that she inherited her intuitive, healing touch from her Grandpa.
Ione's deep passion to help people with their skin problems comes from her struggle with her own skin problems: eczema and acne.
From personal experience, in-depth study, and research, Ione has found that skin issues generally indicates an imbalance in the body, especially the digestive system. Therefore, healing skin problems requires an integrative solution. Healing facials, pure organic products, proper nutrition, exercise, massage, yoga, and internal detox are the natural pathways to healthy, radiant skin.
Ione knows that there is no "silver bullet" for all skin problems. Consequently, she offers invaluable guidance that corresponds to a person's unique constitution, conditions, and goals. Ione believes
